Research and Development Engineer. My main tasks are focused on research and development activities in electronics, ICT and mechatronics, and I also support activities for dissemination and project management.

Brief CV and Main Professional Interests

Nikolaos obtained his Integrated Master's degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras in Greece. His thesis primarily focused on Smart Grids, exploring effective line fault monitoring using FPGA technology. During this period, he interned at PwC in Patras for 6 months as a software engineer and later worked as an Associate for an additional 2 months. However, his passion for hardware implementations led him back to the University of Patras, where he worked as a Researcher for 1 year. In terms of volunteer work, he served as the head organizer of the Organizing Committee for ECESCON 13 (Panhellenic Electrical and Computer Engineering Conference in Greece). In this role, he was responsible for ensuring smooth collaboration among all teams, managing team coordinators, and addressing any other pertinent issues. Overall, he thrives on learning new concepts, engaging in study, and fostering creativity. And, of course, none of this would be complete without a cup of coffee in hand!
