Our Story
Lumency, born from the innovative research at VUB Industrial Engineering Sciences research group (INDI), has developed groundbreaking expertise in acoustic sensor arrays. This led to the creation of a simulator and VHDL-based core specifically designed for these arrays. Building on this foundation, we specialize in pioneering wireless sensor arrays and smart actuators, focusing on integrated smart systems.
Abdellah Touhafi has been the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lumency, a spinoff company specializing in smart city solutions Since December 2015.
