PROJECTS
EXTENDED
EXTENDED, funded by the European Union, focusing on cutting-edge solid-state battery technology. extended S-specializes in modular battery systems, employing advanced methods to innovate energy storage. within work package 3 (WP3), Lumency leads the development of solid-state battery sensors for electric cars in collaboration with Frauenhoff, advancing electric solutions for transport and mobile applications.
BATMAX
BATMAX, funded by the European Union, specializes in advanced battery management systems for transportation and sustainable energy. Lumency contributes to the project by developing printed sensors and interface circuits for batteries, based on scientific research. Revenue from Lumency's work is reinvested in research, with support from VUB TechTransfer to foster collaboration between academia and industry for societal advancement.
ECOMOBILITY
EcoMobility, funded by the European Union, develops sustainable mobility solutions for electric vehicles, addressing digital mobility challenges. Lumency's role includes developing sensors for Work Package 3 (WP3) and Work Package 4 (WP4). In WP3, they create semiconductor solutions for essential electronic components, while in WP4, they develop intelligent embedded software modules for supply chains.
SENZITALL
Lumency is subcontracted for SenZitall, led by Avia-GIS. ESA Space Solutions aids European businesses with space tech for Earth improvements, offering funding and expertise in green transition and digital sustainability across sectors like health, agriculture, transportation, and energy. SenZitall provides a wireless sensor network and decision support system for real-time pest population simulations in sectors like horticulture, aided by SATCOM, GNSS, and EO data. It's currently in pilot demonstration across multiple locations.
